Timeline

1. On November 15 - PWD Official Race Kit are handed out

2. November 16 through December 5 - Scouts draw car designs on the pine wood

3. On December 6 - Scouts return cars with designs drawn

4. On December 13 - Scouts receive the cut cars back

5. On January 10 - Den leaders remind scouts to work on cars

6. On January 17 - Den leaders remind scouts to work on cars

7. On January 24 - Den leaders remind scouts to work on cars

8. On January 31 - Plan to turn in cars on this date.

9. February 8 - Final car inspection. Cars can be turned in that were not turned in on January 31.

10. No entries will be accepted after 5:00 PM on February 8

11. February 22 - Pinewood Derby Race

12. May 3 - Race against the best - NEGA regional race at 2025 scout show

Final Car Inspections on February 8

1. 1. Arrive by 1:00 if you haven’t yet finished your car - you will receive help.

   2. Turn in cars.

   3. Weigh cars.

   4. Final tunes (e.g. weight)

Our PWD on February 22, follows the same rules as the NEGA Counsil regional race rules.
