Upon check-in you will receive your camp site assignment and we will verify that you have the following, insha'Allah:
Payment (pack dues plus $15/each additional camper,
Activity concent form for each registed scout,
Valid SYT certificate for each adult,
Health forms for everyone in your pary
We are closely monitoring the weather conditions in Gainesville.
The camping trip is planned to proceed rain or shine.
Please bring weather appropriate clothes such as raincoat, umbrella, hat, etc.
If there is severe weather making the camping trip hazardous, we will cancel the trip.
For scouts who have already paid the "Pack Dues"/Activity fee and Registration fees there is no additional charge.
For all others, such as parents or additional siblings, the fee is $15/person.
No payment is needed for children aged under 5 years old.

On Friday night, every family is responsible for their own dinner.
You are responsible for your own leftovers including safe storage away from wildlife.
We will not have a potlock, so please bring only food for your own family.
On Saturday, breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served, insha'Allah (included).
On Sunday, breakfast will be served, insha'Allah (included).
Friday you may come dressed in regular clothes
Saturday scouts will be in class A uniform
Sunday scouts can wear class B (t-shirt) uniform. Camping T-shirts will be provided to all scouts insha'Allah.
Wear close toed shoes with a sturdy bottom, preferably hiking shoes.
Considering bringing an extra change of clothes, just in case.

T-shirts will be handed out to all registed scouts, insha'Allah.
We have camp sites 6, 7, and 8 as well as the Craft Shack A and B.
Camp sites do not have electricity, so you may want to bring your own power bank.
No RV parking at the camp sites and there is no hookup for electricity.
If you want to camp in your car, SUV, or minivan you can park in the parking lot.
Camp site 6 will have a preference for den leaders, insha'Allah. Camp sites 7 and 8 will be for all other famalies, insha'Allah.
It is not unusual to see wildlife at Scoutland. Sometimes we see deers, birds, raccons, etc.
Remember to learn about the wild animals and know how to react when you encounter them. Never feed the wild animals.
Never keep food in your tent, or leave it out in the open.
Always pack away food in your car.
The trip is only allowed for registered scouts and immediate family members (siblings and parents/guardians)
